About Me
Throughout the years of working with my clients, I have been moved and inspired by their persistence and dedication to build a better life for themselves despite insurmountable challenges that they often face and have overcome. I work closely with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and interpersonal skills, as well as those who are struggling with OCD. I also work with parents who want to learn strategies to enhance their children's positive behavior. I have also worked as a school psychologist for over a decade, and work closely with children, their parents and schools on developing emotional regulation skills.
I have training in CBT, DBT, ERP and MBCT, which drive and inform my work. I work with each client to tailor treatment to their needs, and place great value on creating a safe, supportive and validating therapy environment. In addition, I work with clients on identifying and drawing on their strengths and skills to create a plan that is best for them.
Reaching out to a therapist is often the hardest step. I am am available for a phone consultation to talk through with you what you are hoping to gain from therapy and how I can be of help and support.
