About Our Workplace
Child Thrive Center is a small, specialized child and adolescent cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) practice. We focus on the treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and related conditions using evidence-based, exposure-focused approaches, including SPACE and ERP. In addition, we specialize in addressing behavioral challenges in children through parent-based interventions such as PCIT and PMT as well as, school-based behavioral support and consultation. Services are currently offered in person at our Fair Lawn office, as well as virtually to families located in New Jersey and New York.
Job Description
This position will involve providing individual therapy to children and adolescents and collaborating with families, schools, and other professionals to support coordinated care. Child Thrive Center is committed to professional growth and offers weekly training and supervision, along with opportunities for clinicians to develop their own interests and specialties. We provide a competitive compensation package, including a training stipend to support ongoing professional development. Postdoctoral candidates will have opportunities for advancement, with the potential to remain at Child Thrive Center as a staff psychologist.
Qualifications
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program. Applicants should have experience providing cognitive-behavioral treatment of children and adolescents. Strong candidates will also have a clear interest in gaining additional experience and advanced training in the treatment of children and adolescents, including certification in evidence-based treatment modalities.
