About Our Workplace
Brave Psychology is a close-knit, supportive, and team-oriented CBT practice. We specialize in treating anxiety, OCD, and related disorders, utilizing exposure-based, values-driven techniques. Additionally, we have expertise in addressing child behavior and anxiety through Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Supportive Parenting of Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). Our services are available both via telehealth and in-person, in Woodmere, NY.
Job Description

Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program. Applicants with a master’s degree in mental health counseling or social work, along with two years of post-graduate experience, are also encouraged to apply. Experience in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety disorders, particularly exposure-based interventions, is preferred, along with experience in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. This role involves working directly with children, adolescents, and adults, providing individual therapy, and collaborating with family members, other mental health professionals, and schools.
