SHIFRA offers professional counseling, financial aid and a lifetime of parenting support. SHIFRA counselors are clinical professionals. They do not provide halakhic or medical guidance on abortion or take any political stance on related issues.

Communities Confronting Substance Use & Addiction (CCSA)

CCSA was founded with the goal of creating stigma-free Jewish communities through family support groups, com- munity awareness events and evidence-based prevention education programming for Jewish middle and high school students, faculty and parents. CCSA provides education on this issue to shuls, organizations and schools. They provide support groups for families of those with addiction. CCSA has recently joined forces with Ohel to continue their work on substance abuse prevention and education.

Informed Behavioral Health

Informed BH helps people with emotional, behavioral and psychiatric problems who need a higher level of care than traditional outpatient services. They provide consults and referrals, as well as assistance for families in navigating the entire process. Please note these are fee-based services.

Atzmi

Atzmi provides curricula for Jewish girls that work to improve self-compassion, body acceptance and reduce the focus on outward appearance, thereby reducing eating disorder onset and improving girls' mental health. They also offer work- shops for parents and teachers as well. Atzmi programs are Torah and hashkafa as well as empirically based. They have haskama from HaRav Shmuel Irons of the Detroit Kollel.

The Digital Citizenship Project helps communities and families maximize the benefits of the internet while minimizing its inherent risks.
