Bonei Olam

Bonei Olam has set its mission to provide the means or re- sources necessary to allow childless couples facing infertility the opportunity to pursue medical fertility treatment. Bonei Olam provides support to a couple facing infertility, at every step of the way. This includes medical referrals, counselor support, advocacy, and if needed, financial assistance. Bonei Olam currently has 27 chapters around the world.

Our team of psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers is handpicked so that you will see the most caring, knowledgeable, experienced and empathetic providers. Rambam’s Behavioral Health team stays up-to-date with the latest therapy techniques, modalities and medical treatments. We prioritize listening above all else, placing our focus on being attentive and supportive listeners at all times throughout the treatment process.

Albert Ellis Institue

The Center for Psychological Evaluation at the Albert Ellis Institute offers individualized psychological and psycho-educational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, backed by over 60 years of experience. Evaluations include interviews, cognitive and academic testing, personality assessments, and emotional/behavioral scales, typically completed over two to three sessions. A feedback session is held about four weeks later, followed by a detailed written report and recommendations. Comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations cost $3,100 ($2,900 for university students) with predoctoral clinicians and $3,500 with licensed staff psychologists. Psychotherapy is available for a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns, with fees of $140 per session for therapy with Master’s-level predoctoral therapists under licensed supervision, and $180–$400 per session with licensed psychologists. Services are offered in-person and remotely for individuals in NY and NJ. While insurance is not accepted, documentation is provided for possible reimbursement. Reduced fees are available for students.

Parnes Family Psychological and Psychoeducational Services Clinic

The Max and Celia Parnes Family Psychological and Psychoeducational Services Clinic is the training clinic of Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. For more than 45 years, we have provided low-cost, confidential, state-of-the-art mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. We provide compassionate care to individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, culture, sexual orientation, political orientation, marital status, religious affiliation or physical or medical disability. While we do not accept health insurance, fees are established on a sliding-scale basis, and we will never turn away a patient due to financial circumstances. Our fees generally range from $5–$40 for psychotherapy sessions, $250 or less for child psychoeducational assessments, $350 or less for child neuropsychological assessment.

St. Johns' Center for Psychological Services

The Center serves the Department of Psychology as a training site for all of its graduate students in the Clinical Psychology and School Psychology programs.
The Center strives to provide the highest quality psychological care to the local community by delivering evidence-based psychological services at a modest cost. Services include psychological testing and therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults.

ORA

ORA seeks to eliminate abuse from the Jewish divorce process. ORA works for the timely and unconditional issuance of a get and believes that the protracted refusal to issue or receive a get is a form of domestic abuse which must never be tolerated. Separation and divorce can be a challenging and lonely time in a person’s life. ORA's staff has years of experience in working with individuals experiencing personal challenges and is here to support with compassion and empathy. Individuals at any stage of the divorce process are welcome to contact ORA.

Seton Complex, St. John's University

Ani Ledodi is an anonymous women’s helpline addressing questions and concerns regarding intimacy with utmost discretion and complete anonymity. Calls are answered by trained professionals who are able to listen and provide information and appropriate referrals.

Relief Resources

Relief Resources is a nonprofit organization, providing mental health guidance, education and treatment recommendations. Relief makes specific recommendations based on each unique circumstance.

Shalom Task Force

The mission of Shalom Task Force is to combat and prevent domestic violence and foster healthy and safe relationships and families. Their services include a confidential hotline and chatline, free legal services and community education workshops.
