Shalom Task Force

The mission of Shalom Task Force is to combat and prevent domestic violence and foster healthy and safe relationships and families. Their services include a confidential hotline and chatline, free legal services and community education workshops.

Yahalom

Yahalom is a central resource and referral center for special needs, assisting families in obtaining and accessing necessary help available in each state. Yahalom is a division of Agudath Israel of America.

Chai Lifeline

Chai Lifeline is an international support network, providing social, emotional and practical assistance to children, families and communities impacted by medical crises and trauma through a variety of year-round programs and services.

OU SPIRIT Initiative

SPIRIT is the Stimulating Program Initiative for Retirees that Inspires Thought. It is for Retirees, Not-Yet Retirees, Baby Boomers, Seniors, etc., offering weekly Zoom programs on numerous topics.

JOWMA Jewish Orthodox Women's Medical Association

JOWMA is a public health organization serving the Orthodox Jewish community, providing health events, speakers, webinars and support for Jewish female physicians and trainees.

Yachad (OU)

Yachad works to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families within the Jewish community. Their tagline "Because Everyone Belongs" fits so well with their mission of inclusion and helping developmentally disabled individuals reach higher than ever thought possible. Yachad has many services, which include clinical services, family services, IVDU school, Day Hab and vocational programming, as well as Shabbatons and summer programs.

The Friendship Circle

The Friendship Circle offers programs for kids and teens with special needs and their families, as well as teen volunteer opportunities. Each FC branch is independent. Find a local branch and more information online

Kesher Families

The organization was founded by Rebbetzin Adeena and Rabbi Menachem Penner to provide support for Orthodox families with a loved one who identifies as LGBTQ+. Kesher Families was inspired by the many families who contacted the Penners seeking a safe, warm and compassionate space where they could openly discuss their experiences, conflicts and emotions. Kesher Families also works with various Orthodox communities and their leaders across the United States and in other countries, as well as with schools, rabbinic leaders and organizations to provide education and support.

Camp HASC

For more than fifty years, Camp HASC, a part of the Hebrew Academy for Special Children, has served the Jewish community as the premier summer program, in a camp setting, for individuals with special needs, intellectual and physical disabilities.

OU Gen Aleph

GenAleph is a parenting program for the Torah community. Research-based and built around the needs of the Jewish community, Gen Aleph looks forward to partnering with shuls and schools throughout the community.
