About Me
After spending a decade in the business industry, I made a meaningful career change to pursue my passion for psychology. I strive to help my clients create more meaning and satisfaction in their lives while working through some difficult emotions and challenging circumstances. Like the serenity prayer, I view the therapeutic setting as a place to explore acceptance verses change strategies.
In addition to working with individuals who struggle with mood, anxiety, relationship, and personality difficulties, I have trained in couples therapy, addiction, complex trauma, and suicidality. I have a special interest in researching cultural and religious aspects that influence mental health and have authored numerous publications on the subject.
While reaching out for help is not easy, keeping it all inside often leads to more suffering. I believe that with the right tools and nurturing environment, you can heal from difficult life experiences and work through challenges. I combine warmth with a direct approach to help you through your unique lived experience.
