About Me
Dr. Pinchot treats children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. His approach to therapy is warm, empathic, and genuine. Dr. Pinchot is a cognitive-behavioral therapist who combines exposure and response prevention (ERP) with mindfulness-based approaches, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to meet the unique needs of each client. When working with children, Dr. Pinchot incorporates techniques from SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents. Dr. Pinchot received specialized training in treating OCD and anxiety disorders at the Northwell Health OCD Center and My OCD Care. He also offers workshops on the treatment of relationship OCD (ROCD).
